Dr. Jillian Imilkowski DACM, LAc., CMT is a board-certified Doctor of Acupuncture trained at the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA where she also lives and works.
She has over three decades of experience helping patients of all ages manage chronic pain, recover from injuries, alleviate symptoms of stress and anxiety, lessen the effects of sleep disorders, improve mental-emotional health, and much more. She has worked with UC San Diego Health’s Owen Clinic Cancer Treatment Center and UC San Diego Health’s Center for Integrative Medicine.
Her background working within the mainstream healthcare system makes Dr. Jillian uniquely qualified to understand and collaborate with doctors from all fields. She believes that healing comes from everywhere and has extensive experience providing stand-alone as well as adjunct treatment plans for her patients.
I first experienced the power of Chinese medicine in 2004 after a car accident that threatened to severely limit my mobility and put me on a lifelong regimen of “pain management” medications (aka opioids). My doctors told me to prepare for the fact that I may never ride a bicycle again. Not satisfied with that prognosis, I took my healing journey in a different direction. Working several times a week with an acupuncturist for 6 months got me back on my bicycle for short rides. By the end of a year, with consistent work and strength training, I signed up, trained for, and completed a 100-mile bicycle ride! Over 20 years later, I still get regular acupuncture treatments and remain pain (and painkiller) free, active and loving my life.
Dr. Jessica Boyer DACM, LAc., is a board-certified Doctor of Acupuncture trained at the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, California. She worked for 15 years as a Forensic Autopsy Assistant at the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office where she honed her knowledge of the human body and the disease process. This work taught her immense patience, perspective, empathy, and the capability to maintain an optimistic outlook during challenging times. She completed an eight-month internship at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego where she collaborated with doctors in various fields and specialties seeking to restore patients’ natural energy balance and harmonizing their body/mind/spirit.
Hi. My name is Rikiko Yamaguchi, I moved from Yokohama, Japan to the U.S in 2011. In Japan, I was a pharmacist for over 10 years, but always loved massage and bodywork. Ever since I was young, I enjoyed giving my parents massages to relax them. So, I decided to go back to school and graduated from a medical massage college in Japan to combine the science of pharmacy and the healing skills of massage. In 2020 I became a licensed massage therapist in California focusing on the nurturing art of Swedish massage, I am also trained with sports and deep tissue massage.
As a special treat, I am the first (and currently only certified) massage therapist to bring the Japanese technique of CS60 into the United States. CS60 is a healing modality developed by Mr. Nishimura in Japan. The massage technique utilizes a specialized magnetic and copper tool designed to break down toxins, release waste matter and rebalance the electromagnetic field in our bodies to improve overall functions. I am proud to be a part of sharing the technique of CS60 to southern California and then on to the rest of the United States.
